How much does an installation cost?
The complexity of the job – depending on the number of stories and roofing material – affects the installation cost. Our standard cost is $120.00 per hour. Most single story tin roof installations take between three and four hours.
Do we provide the Starlink Terminal (Dish)?
At Starlink Installer we offer the service of installing your Starlink terminal/dish which can be ordered from www.starlink.com.
We can also order and track your Starlink service on your behalf and, on it’s arrival, arrange for the installation and commissioning of the service.
Do I need to purchase a mount separately?
When our network engineer arrives at your property, they will assess the environment and select a mounting system that sufficiently accommodates your building. Mounting brackets and other peripherals are a separate cost to the installation.

Will you need to drill a hole through the roof and/or wall?
Yes. To achieve professional results, the Starlink dish needs to be installed externally. The Starlink router will be located inside your premises, thus meaning that our professional network engineer will need to drill holes to enable cable connectivity from the dish to the router. We ensure that the cabling is generally completely concealed within the wall space and is therefore undetectable.
*If you live in a rental property, we require written permission from the building owner to have a Starlink dish installed.
After installation, how long until the internet service is up and running?
In most cases, your Starlink Wi-Fi should be connected within a few minutes following the installation. Before our professional network engineer departs the premises, they will ensure that you are satisfied with your new high-speed connection.
Will the Starlink router provide Wi-Fi coverage for the whole of the property?
In our professional experience, for most premises, your Starlink Wi-Fi will provide general WiFi coverage within a certain range. This is dependent on where the router is installed and the make up of the premises. There may be situations in larger buildings, however, where further Wi-Fi Access Points are required for complete coverage. If you suspect this could be the case for you, please contact us prior to installation to discuss further.
If you have an existing Wi-Fi network, please inform us at time of booking, so that we can ascertain whether your existing network can be integrated into the Starlink service.
Can I order a Starlink mount by itself?
Our network engineers carry and supply all the necessary Starlink brackets and mounts that are likely to be necessary to successfully and professionally install your Starlink service.
